Hello! My name is James, and it is my great honor and joy to serve as the Director of Corporate Worship at King’s Cross Church.

I’m a Florida native, born and raised in Sarasota. Growing up in a broken home, my family could be described as nominally Christian, attending church on holidays and occasionally praying before meals. It wasn't until my sophomore year of high school that I came to a true saving knowledge of Christ, a pivotal season that, praise be to God, changed the trajectory of my life.

As I grew in my understanding of the Scriptures, I embraced reformed theology, which has profoundly deepened my walk with the Lord and increased my love for both Him and His Church. Over the last ten years, I've been blessed to serve in various worship and student ministries, finding immense joy and purpose in these roles.

In the spring of 2017, I found a home at King’s Cross Church (then Shoreline). In the fall of that same year, I married my wonderful wife, Nicolle, and our family recently grew with the arrival of our first child, Adeline Rose, in March 2024.

When I’m not at church, you’ll likely find me enjoying a medium-rare ribeye, singing songs out of my range in the car, or playing left field for the Waffle Batters.

Above all, I deeply love my friends, my family, and my Lord.
