I was born and raised in a Christian home in southern California. Even though I was blessed to be part of a solid church that taught God’s word faithfully, and even prayed the sinner’s prayer when I was five years old, it wasn't until the age of 17 that I believe I was truly saved. The Lord used the separation of my parents to draw me to Himself, and it was at that time that I repented of my sins, and trusted in Christ alone. I was baptized shortly after, and put on a whole new path in life! The Lord gave me a strong desire to know His word, so I enrolled in a Bible institute in Michigan in 2003. It was there that I met my wife, Katrina, and also given a desire to serve the Lord in full-time ministry. We were married in 2005 and moved to Katrina’s home state of Pennsylvania. I had the privilege to serve on the staff of the First Baptist Church of Danville as the college and career ministries director. However, we knew that the Lord had given us a desire to serve overseas, so in 2007 we moved to Missouri and pursued further equipping to serve as church-planters in Asia. Our first daughter, Violet, was born in 2009, and in 2010 we moved to Russia. We ended up living there for four years, with the highlight of our time serving amongst an unreached people group in Siberia. We were also blessed to have two more children while we there, Keira and Keith. In fall of 2014 we were asked to come on staff at the home office of our mission organization, Global Serve International, so we moved our family to Florida. I served as Director of Personnel for the mission from 2015-2021. In that time we also celebrated the birth of our youngest daughter, Leah, in August of 2015. From December 2014-December 2016 I served on staff as music director at CrossPointe Fellowship on Anna Maria Island. Meeting Pastor Pilgrim and the urging of good friends, brought us to King’s Cross in 2017. We left CrossPointe in good fellowship and still love and support that church today. At King’s Cross I started leading singing, and was appointed as one of the Elders in 2018. In Summer of 2021, King’s Cross was at a place where a second full-time pastor was needed, so I resigned my position at GSI to be fully committed to the church. It’s only by God’s grace in our lives that we have had the privilege to serve both overseas and here in the USA. To God alone be the glory!
